I am a product designer in New York City.
I grew up in a small town in Idaho dreaming of designing skyscrapers in a big city. For as long as I can remember I wanted to be an architect, to design space for people to experience. In 2009 I moved to New York City to attend design school and study architecture. After working in architecture for a couple years I began to develop an interest in design of digital space. That is how I discovered User Experience Design.
To me UX design and architecture are about the same thing in different ways. Architecture is the interaction of the body with a physical space. UX design is about the interaction of the mind with a digital space. I am curious about where the physical meets the digital, and what happens in that space.
